What we collect

When you submit the contact form. Your name and email address, which are required, and your phone number, company name and the service you selected, which are optional. We also store the message you write.

Alongside that submission we record the page you sent it from, the site that referred you if any, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. We use these to answer you, to know which pages generate enquiries, and to identify automated spam.

When you simply browse. Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses. If you switch between the light and dark theme, that preference is stored in your own browser and is never sent to us.

Cookies

We use one cookie. It holds your session and the security token that stops other websites submitting our forms on your behalf. It is required for the contact form to work and it expires when your session ends.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this website. If that changes, this page will be updated and a consent banner added before any such cookie is set.

Third parties

This website makes no requests to third-party servers. Our typefaces are served from our own domain rather than Google Fonts, so no external company receives your IP address simply because you visited a page. There are no embedded trackers, advertising scripts or social media widgets.

If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, that conversation happens on WhatsApp and is covered by their privacy policy, not ours.

Our website and email are hosted by Hostinger, who process data on our behalf as part of providing that service. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so that we can pick up a conversation you started earlier, then deleted. Anything identified as spam is deleted sooner. Server access logs are kept for a short period by our host as part of normal operations.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@zylokdigital.com and we will action it within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and asking costs nothing.

We never added you to a mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from. Submitting the contact form does not sign you up to anything.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and enquiries are stored in a database that is not publicly accessible. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, card details or identity documents through the contact form. If you need to send something sensitive, email us and we will arrange a safer route.
